The 'effect' was done in camera by rotating it around a point... tricky hand held but it kind of worked. Using the Minolta 24-85RS. There was a specific shutter that it was working at well but i dont recall it...

A very nice illusion of a tunnel, Richard. Very creative. Did you rotate on a tripod ? The figure was added from another shot ?

Hi Peter, thanks! The effect was created completely in-camera - a shutter around 1/10th to get just enough blur, but then rotate it around a fixed point keeping the central figure in focus. She was not added after & it was all done handheld by cupping the lens around my left hand and just trying to keep the motion as free/smooth as possible. Admittedly, it sounds more difficult than it actually is... it's just quite fun is all :)
