ashley_davis2 0 Posted May 27, 2008 I spent most of my early life working with B/W and Sepia and have a great love of this medium. I like the composition but the overall effect is too "muddy" for my liking. My thoughts would be to lighten the midtones , go for more shadow contrast and lift the highlights. If this is film , make a positive from the negative, manually make the same adjusments as above and do some doofering with a cotton ball in the sky area to give a more erie effect, maybe consider "antiquing with sepia" ( might be interesting.?) Black and white is awesome if handled right. Link to comment
bogdan_nicolescu 8 Posted June 17, 2008 Ashley, thanks for your suggestions, yes, this is film, 6x9 pinhole camera. I am in early stages of B&W experiments so don't know much how to get the best of the medium... tried to tweak contrast/brightness a bit and reloaded the photo, still not very good... Link to comment
