Lacerda 0 Posted May 26, 2008 Beautiful. I think that, this beautiful image would be even more attractive if you had removed the glass table, and she looks wonderful. Regards. Link to comment
Elstad 3 Posted January 9, 2010 Now to my mind if you removed the glass table it would be a travesty... so there you have the yin and yang of that. I love the reflection, I love the light and I want the bench in my studio I do... A very fine portrait. -r- Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 2 Posted January 10, 2010 This was taken in the National Portrait Gallery. Both the table and the love seat are in a rest area used by visitors. The light is from an off camera battery powered flash (SB800). Jim Phelps Link to comment
ianbramley 0 Posted January 25, 2010 I love the composition AND THE TABLE STAYS :-). my only criticism is the colour of dress and the seat are so similar, but not the same, I find it bothers me everytime I look at it. The red shoes etc are great, love them. from what u said bout location. I am sure this must have been an impromptu shot, and full range of clothes werent available ;-) could you have changed the carpet! im not keen Generally a nicely worked photograph. Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 2 Posted January 26, 2010 This was a formal photo shoot, this is a model, the clothing, shoes, etc, were picked for this shoot, and her makeup was done by a professional make up artist. Most of this shoot was with natural light. This image was not. The intent of this image was to introduce a dramatic/glamourous look using spectral light and chromatic colors.
