I saw this over at "no words". What a lovely still life and I really like your use of lighting. It gives the whole composition some depth. The gray background really brings out the flowers. Nice work.

Your selection of flowers, the pewter vase and the overall soft lighting....gives this still life portrait an air of antique heritage. Lovely !

I will stick with the original as being a better shot, but if you could darken the background on this one then I would change my mind.

I think you're right, Shawn. I have one with the wall (light blue) much lighter and it doesn't work at all, but the v1 is a little crowded, right? Thank you for watching my posts. I'm watching yours, too. Amazing as always.
