I love the color on the tractor, but I think it clashes with the blue sky in the background- perhaps on a cloudy day? It might also serve to set the mood better, with the rust and decay on the tractor.

I like it this way. It makes me think of an old Ektachrome. Seriously, a study in blue is the whole point; if you don't like that, you're not buying into the concept behind the photograph. Compositionally, I like the way the diagonal line of coulds continues the axis of the steering wheel. The masses of the parts of the tractor are nicely sized, shaped and placed. I think this is one of my favorite rusty-vehicle shots in quite a while.

Your camera angle and color composition are just superb here, you hit that steering wheel with the white cloud back round really nice, did you wait for that to move into frame. great image.

Very nice! I love the tones in the tractor. I find myself agreeing with J.A. that the blue wash of sky in the upper left perhaps detracts from the beautiful tonal gradations on the tractor? Perhaps some fill light on the lower left of the tractor? (just musing). But, very lovely photograph.

Thank you all for your comments. I didn't wait for the clouds to move, but I did move myself to get a good composition (including the clouds).

I love all that blue! The contrast of the steering wheel looks great. Really cool shot. Great composition.

The sky and clouds are a wonderful backdrop for this image. It is quite simple, but quite lovely in contrast and colors. The theme ain't so shabby either...

Nice work!
