all the encouragement!

Looks like it goes from ordinary sureal. I like the distortion effects on the building and the bird. I also like the addition of the nice puffy clouds.

Joe, the effect of distortion and additions , creates a legendary feeling, looks like an illustration for a book....well executed, good light and colors, really nice .

At the end the reality is the image you have in your mind. The creativity transmits good feelings. Best wishes. Vicente.

Exceptional work Joe. The addition of the wagon and the wheel barrow add balance to the overall composition, and look like they were there to begin with.

You just made my day! Wow! What a treat; a Tury Original! I am very touched, and pretty much speechless. What a wonderful work of art from an artist I admire so much. Thank you, my friend, thank you! Kudos and major props; excellent work in all respects! This is what makes PN so fun. When you get out my way later this summer; let me know; I'll make it up to you then! Cheers! The loaded version is such an improvement from the original. The distorted perspective adds artistic feel to it & the blue sky is beautiful.

I like like the comic effect - expecting Gene Zesche (sp?) to insert one of his characters.

Good shot and alterations.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've attached a reworked version. I digitally repainted the house, wagon, and wheelbarrow as well as more flowers and the small structure in the bg. I also brightened it overall.

Rueda: muchas gracias!

Bob: The bird was an afterthought that worked . ( He actually flew all the way from Illinois for this one) The clouds were digitally painted in. I appreciate your attention to the details!

Pnina: Thank you! Your comments are encouraging. You know someone in need of a book cover?  :o)

Jose: Thank you my friend.

PDE: Back to the new style! Thank you!

R Rivera: Appreciate that!

Vicente: Hopefully I've blurred the lines between reality and fantasy. Thanks!

Rich: Thanks man!

Fred:  The wagon was rough, the wheelbarrow seemed to fit in easy. I'm glad you agree with the balance. Thanks !

Mehmet: Thanks for your comments my friend.

Chris: Glad you enjoyed this! I think the reworked version is better. I thought a piece from your backyard would be a fitting tribute. Hope we can meet up this summer and thanks again for all your support amigo!!

Cherlyn. Thanks for mentioning the sky. It was fun to do! And thanks for the visit!

Deb: Thank you so much. Still working on that horse :o)

Jeffrey: Thanks!!

Frank: Wow. I wish I could get a Zesch character in here. That would be too cool. Thanks for stopping by!

Linh: Thank you very much!

Darren: Where's ma and pa? You're so right. Thanks man!

I like both this homestead on acid version and the original Wyeth one. This creates such a weird twist, which distills the essence out of the archetype. A nice one.

Bodie was a small mining town. I imagine this is what the homestead appeared to look like after 20 hours of work! Ha! Thanks! I would hope Wyeth could have enjoyed my digital version!

This is a remarkable ambitious piece. I like the surreal aspect that shrinking the frame has achieved. Very unique. You have also added a good deal to the composition which is comendable, but my mind is confusing the depth of your image because of the tangents created against the horizon by the wagon you added on the right.

Another creatively achieved good work. I can see elements ofimpressionism. But also it contains comic-style. I don't mean it negatively, but reminds me of some houses in Lucky Luke.

The bird underpins the beautiful sky.

Did you think about another coloriation of the sky?Maybe a bit more pastellic, but also lilac darkened, a dull one to match the flowers?

Nonetheless, it's original and therefore special to my eyes. Regards my friend - Hasan
