kinell 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Very nice colors and perfect frame. The square frame is a great choice. If only you could have moved the camera up a little to avoid the green line below the branch, but that's asking too much :-) 7/6 Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted May 24, 2008 WOW..... What a capture, Donna! I love this clean image of a butterfly with nice composition! Link to comment
wedeko 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Very nice and colorful background, like the pose of the butterfly. On my screen I can't see any details in the black of the wing that's a pity. To be honest you also miss some sharpness on the body and head. But nice work and good luck the next time! Regards Wendy Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 24, 2008 To me, this has almost a graphic quality because I, too, don't see detail in the black. But the color pops off the screen at you and I think you could play with this a bit and take the graphic concept a little further. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Thanks everyone for stopping by to critique and comment. . . I decided to work this up as a graphic image since I had lost most of the detail in the black because I was shooting directly into a bright background . . . hand held exposure contributed to the loss of sharpness. . . Kim, I'm not sure what you mean by pushing the graphic concept further.. . . Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted May 25, 2008 The striking colours of the bg is very pleasing & sets off the butterfly very well. Though the details on its wings are lost, its still a beautiful image. Link to comment
