This is an interesting and pleasant photo. I have tried out this technique some times and know, that quite some experience combined with luck is necessary to get such a convincing result. If this is your darker side, than you must be a very lucky person. Thanks for sharing. Karl

Many thanks for a wonderful comment. I was "in a weird mood" when I did this - not really sure what I was feeling or thinking. I'm generally an upbeat, positive person, so go figure.

love the title. you read it and there's a nice sense of anticipation before even seeing the image. and the image itself is wonderful. totally twilight zone.

This has such great abstract sense of being lost, or even being haunted. This is like charcoal drawn and water-color painted piece of photo art. At the same time, distressing and hypnotising image. I think that this is so artistic image, that this would deserve being at some proper place at someone`s wall, being printed in LARGE form. As a matter of fact, I see this one exactly at that way, partly because of the inspiring framing that you use in this photo.

I am both impressed and proud of you! WOW, stunningly artistic image! Lot`s of hugs, ravings and a large parrot mark for the work well done. All of these, because I cannot rate this 7/7, which it deserves. :-)

This is a smudged wonder. The tallness of trees preserved, but pictured with a sense of motion and melting into the forest floor. Lovely work.

A lovely treatment and atmosphere created here. Something along the lines of a charcoal or pencil sketch comes to mind.

I do not get the feel of being lost from this, more like a leisurely stroll, but then , I have no doubt lived in the woods for too long to feel lost amongst the trees :-)

The 3D feeling which you got here looks great, also the b/w treatments suits well for it. I have tried some of this kind of images with b/w but they haven't worked out well. So, well done from you darker side. Warm rgs Tero.

This one reminds me of the charcoal drawings my wife used to do when we first met, so by default it goes straight to the top of favorite images for me- after all, photos that awaken memories in others are the best. It is such a lovely image with its softness and muted hues. The blacks within it really captivate the eye - just excellent-
