mario2 0 Posted May 23, 2008 This image was taken during a session in MACBA museum, in architecture, the fact to include the human being some times is necessary to give dynamism and show approximately the dimensions of the building. I think that the most difficult in this kind of photography, is to fix correctly the perspective, capture an accurate tones and fix the correct white balance if the light is mixed sunrays/artificial as in this case. La verdad es que no es nada sencillo lograrlo, la descripcion que haces para introducir tu imagen es muy acertada, son los peque�os detalles en la perspectiva y la composicion los que hacen o deshacen cualquier foto de un espacio como este. El MACBA, es sin duda un edificio excepcional, controvertido pero excepcional, pero nada sencillo de retratar, no solo la cantidad de lineas y elementos de su arquitectura la hacen complicada, la luz y el inmenso juego de distintos blancos la hacen aun mas dificil. En cuanto a incluir la figura humana, me parece una decision totalmente acertada, sobre todo considerando que por el espacio retratado, el mantener el sentido de escala se antoja muy complicado. En fin, para variar, me gusta un monton; y solo puedo aniadir que seria genial ver mas imagenes tuyas de este gran pedazo de arquitectura. Saludos, Link to comment

La luz es tambien muy buena y los tonos frios contrastan muy bien con algunos calidos que me imagino seran de algun tipo de luz artificial. La presencia humana pone la guinda a la toma y da la medida de la edificiacion. Resumiendo, que me gusta mucho. Un saludo. Link to comment

godfather 0 Posted August 6, 2008 This is very "pure" picture in my eyes. I don't know if you did something to the perspective as you said there, but it looks great, can't see any distortions anywhere. And as you said about the white balance: i have also had some problems with it, but mainly when developing pictures, i am not sure always should i set WB as the white should be, or like the way as my eyes really saw it at that moment. Mainly i have done it like my eyes see at the moment. That might be totally wrong thing to do but that is something i have used to do.When are we going to see some new shots from you?Warm rgs Tero.
