You did a bit of walking to get these three different views you have posted. I will choose this one as my favorite because of the nice background and the sky. But thank you for including the others so that I could see the whole scene. It is a beautiful structure and it would be fun to live in it for a summer. Nice work as is usual with you!

... I also love how the sky and weather change from shot to shot ... a dynamic sky is a great addition to the shot.

The Chau de Chenonceau is such a beautiful place and you've captured a really great photo here! The crop is a little tight on the top right, but the overall photo is excellent! Great work!

Superb light, very artful crop and composition. If I were picky I would comment on the clouds - trees transition zone LHS.

Thank you all for your comments anr ratings.

Carsten, you are right. I have another version where this little fault is corrected but I have forgoten to replace this ancient version in photo.net. I do it at once.

Wow! I have been really busy the past few weeks (moving again) - and look what I miss. These images are fantastic!! I love the detail and sharpness that you achieved in capturing this beautiful scene. And the sky couldn't be better! What camera/lens are you using?

Thank you Emmanuel and Lou Ann. My camera is the Nikon D80 and the lens used here is the Sigma 10-20mm f4 - 5.6 DC. The image is a stitching of 4 shots.

Ahh! Great stitching work! I always struggle with matching up the skies in stitched shots. You did very well here!
