thadley 15 Posted May 20, 2008 No manipulation - reflections from a car hood in the shopping parking lot. The front wheel would be just below the lower right. There is also a small dent in that area. The orange in the upper portion is a reflection of orange car reflectors from another car. I thought it was interesting maybe it will not be of interest to you but comments would be appreciated. Too abstract? I wanted to make sure there was one point of sharp focus. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 21, 2008 Again, this doesn't look like metal. It has a far more organic feel like storm clouds gathering. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted May 21, 2008 wonderful abstract. It is not important what it is (was), important what we (the viewers can imagine it to be.As my photography teacher Freeman Patterson says : take off the labels in order to see. cheers Jana Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 21, 2008 Nice to see your images of South Africa. Freeman Patterson made a significant impact to my photography as he gave a one day workshop at a Photo club in Montreal many years ago. At that time I was able to see many of his images of Namaqualand (spelling?) and subsequently bought a couple of his books. Warm regards, Link to comment
vetterhome1 0 Posted May 22, 2008 Fantastic soft areas and swinging lines. The little coloured area at the top show some dangerous side. Did you want it. BR Joerg Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted May 22, 2008 Overall a wonderful shot - perfect lines. The little dent makes it 'nothing is perfect'... I like it. Regards, El Link to comment
