lex_jenkins 13 Posted April 29, 2002 My favorite image from this folder. Isolation of the in-focus birds against the soft background has tremendous impact in the thumbnail and full-size versions. Even if this particular image doesn't seem to tell the story of the bird defending its nest, it doesn't matter because the image stands well enough on its own. Link to comment
mark_kay 0 Posted May 1, 2002 I have about 8 different shots of an egret being attackedby two birds. I suspect, the egret walked into an nesting area. Anyway, i would appreciate any comments on this one or the others in the folder. Thanks for looking. mark Link to comment
koska 0 Posted May 1, 2002 I agree with the earlier comment. The blurred background and the in focus foreground green work perfectly. Great shot! Link to comment
bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted May 1, 2002 great shot. The green on the Egret's beak, and the breeding plummage shows that the Egret was actively involved in breeding, which would help explain his behavior. Link to comment
Wayne Melia 5,969 Posted May 4, 2002 Good capture. Bit of a nit/suggestion: image size could be smaller. My monitor is set (as I suspect is the most common) at 800w X 600h. The medium view of the image does not fit, so I cannot see the whole photo without scrolling, while the small view does not show enough detail. Link to comment
noahbryant 0 Posted May 27, 2002 This is by far the best in the folder, the BG looks a lot nicer, I take it the TC wasn't on for this shot? Good image Link to comment
mark_kay 0 Posted May 28, 2002 I took all of the shots with the 1.4x TC. So this cannot be the reason for any differences between shots. Mark Link to comment
