deb1 0 Posted May 20, 2008 An fun engagement shoot. I really had trouble with blown out highlights on her skin. It was mid day full sun so I know that was the reason, any suggestions on how I can do it differently next time? Link to comment
poto 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Debra, You've captured a great moment, there's so much joy here, but technically speaking... 1. You might consider framing this as a Portrait, rather than Landscape. Only to crop out that silver SUV in the background. I keep wandering over to it and thinking, what model is that. (bad thing). ha ha. 2. In full sunlight, you should probably move your subjects into the shade, but in doing that, you may loose their spontaneity. 3. Watch for shadows, his face is completely shadowed. I realize in this particular moment, it was unavoidable. 4. A lower f/stop would have blurred out the background and given more focus to your subjects. Tony Link to comment
