Beautiful color and atmosphere, Cherlyn. I very much like the contrast in styles between foreground and background.

Cherlyn - I have been watching for you here on PN - how are things where you are in China? We in the U.S. have been anxiously watching the news. Such a horrible event.

This image is wonderful clear and the detail and color are great! Excellent!

Hi Cherlyn how was Malacca...;-)) I understand it is your fruits from there?beautiful composition, and light. I like the way of the triangled shape you have cropped it. Very colorful as well

How is Spencer?

Hi, Lou Ann, just to clarify, I am from Singapore, not China :-) so I am safe. The 7.8 earthquake is indeed very sad. I felt more for the place & people , esp the children who didn't survide or has become ophans, as I was only there last year Oct , visiting & touring the most affected area, DuJiangYan.

Pnina, yes this is the fruit from my Malacca trip. Spencer is fine & well.

Very good composition, dear Cherlyn. Rich tones and nice light. If I understand the title right, upper part of the river seems to be the rich part. At least the golden cloches(?!) gives this impression. The columns at the edges, top of the buildings remind me of greek architecture. Whereas the lower building looks common. Regards - Hasan
