joshschutz 0 Posted May 18, 2008 What would you change about this photo. Colors, crop... Is it a throw away? Link to comment
whosecameraisforpix 0 Posted May 18, 2008 I think this is a fabulous capture. The tone, lighting, composition are terrific. Personally, I would perhaps crop it just a tad off the bottom, but definitely a keeper! Was this part of the antelope canyon? Great shot - congrats. Link to comment
joshschutz 0 Posted May 18, 2008 This is actually in Waterholes Canyon a few miles from Antelope. This place is as beautiful as antelope, minus all of the people. I would highly suggest a visit to this location. Thanks for the comment Link to comment
laurentbaig 0 Posted May 18, 2008 I've been meaning to get into this canyon for quite a while, if things work out, I'll make it this weekend. Did you go east or west of the highway? The only think I'd change here would be to crop a bit off the bottom to accentuate the curves in the top 2/3s of the image. Keep it. Link to comment
joshschutz 0 Posted May 18, 2008 i went east but only to the first slot. you could spend a whole day exploring the lower section, and then the far west. Link to comment
llmswamy 0 Posted May 19, 2008 Josh, excellent capture. wonderful colors. thanks for suggestion, I'm going to visit Page next week. Hopefully I can make it to water hole also. I hardly have 2 1/2 days to cover that area. -Swamy Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted May 26, 2008 This is an exceptional photo of an exceptional place; I think it is so good that I hardly can come out with a suggestion about how to improve it. However, since you asked, I took the liberty to play with it for a while. I don't think the result is any better, it's just slightly different. What I did was some minor curves adjustment, increase contrast, and lower saturation and warmth just a notch, just to bring out the texture a little farther up. I hope you like it, and find it useful. Cheers! Link to comment
