Thank you for the commentary too. I feel honored to have you break out your "no nudes" policy to have a look at one of my images. Pretty high compliment from a seasoned and frugal PN'er. Too bad the 3/3 out there couldn't elaborate on the rating. I have started using ultrasound pix as props with maternity clients and it would be nice to know what is and is not working in this photo. Rueda...thank you too. Your work is absolutely amazing. I feel honored that you stopped by.

Powerfully effective image. Layers of meaning and texture. For me, I would like to see the male figure face also. Keep it up.

I have a few images with the man in clear view. On this particular setup though...the one with more light on the man mostly revealed his eyes which made it kinda creepy. My lighting is haphazard at best so I will have to work on the fill or directive light a bit more...thanks!

I like this version better than the B&W one of the same shot. For me the color rendition makes the skin tones warm and motherly...if there is such a thing. Also for some reason I prefer the strong key with no fill like here and on your Gemini series. I think having dad obscured in the shadows is effective, its all about mom here and to draw dad more into the shot would ruin the mood. Nicely done.

Thanks Jeff for your continued input. Initially I liked the BW better I changed my mind though. Actually...I am researching and revamping my bw conversion style. Depending on the initial tonal range I have been super hit or miss with the bw. I look at some of my earlier bw and I cringe. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be that long ago....sometimes a few hours can change my perspective. I like leaving older posts up though. It is really a good gage. Based on how rapidly you seem to be growing...you might want to keep your older posts too. You might astonish yourself!
