perry_hart 0 Posted May 17, 2008 I love this image, which causes a spontaneous smile. I think should title it, "Rockwell's Fantasy." GREAT image-thank you! Link to comment
MarkNorthrup 0 Posted May 17, 2008 This has a wonderful retro feel to it. I too thought of Rockwell though Rockwell never painted an image like this! I would love to know what process you used to achieve the luminescent quality. Almost looks like HDR. Link to comment
philippe_carly 0 Posted May 18, 2008 Good pinup work... However I think the rubber duck on the right looks like it doesn't belong there (was it PhotoShopped in ?). The more I look at the photo, the more I have the feeling it's a collage of various elements: the sponge, the foam on her breast, the brush, the foam on the brush... Somehow I also feel like the face and the body don't belong together Link to comment
ab_normall_e_larj 0 Posted May 19, 2008 I was instantly drawn to the photo. And as I stare at it several things seem not right. This, I presume has been re-touched, added to, sharpened, made vivid, or whatever else. I really do prefer when disclaimers are made by the 'artist' to allow viewers the honest truth. Link to comment
creative art and photograp 0 Posted May 20, 2008 No matter what you used or how you did it (photoshop or whatever) the tools were there for you to use and you used them with great skill! Her expression is wonderful and it gets better from there! Truly a work of art. I would love to learn how you did it-- Link to comment
tlvstudio 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Thank you all for the interest shown in this pic. The shot is not a composite. It is "as shot". There is quite intensive Photoshop technique of about 15 layers not actually HDR but definite intensification of colours and contrast. I am sure you all recognise the ring flash dominated by a beauty dish which makes for the feeling of a composite image.....i.e. it is all in the lighting. Hope this clarifies things...... ashlee_zint1 0 Posted January 9, 2009 I love the pic. I have been trying to put together a pinup calendar of a friend of mine and have tried to achieve this same look but can't really figure it out. Do you think you could give me some tips on it or suggest some tutorials? Link to comment
