myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted May 28, 2008 Hi Shuki, Thanks. .... Seems you cut the size of your folio. Some I think I remember are not there now. Maybe I am wrong. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 231 Posted June 21, 2008 The technical perfection amazes me, as well as the rest, the aesthetic and the composition! Best photo on my today's trip, definitely! PDE Link to comment
mark_starr 0 Posted June 21, 2008 You have become one of my favorites on this site for your portraits- technically beautiful, but all going way beyond the typical snapshots we often see here. You capture who the person is, not just what they look like. Your work is a great source of inspiration for me, and I always look forward to more inspiration! Thanks for sharing them- Mark Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted June 21, 2008 Yes, You are Mark from Shirley's house and Fishermen. I remember well. Those are very nice things you wrote and for me to read. Thank you very much. Link to comment
jacobeliana 0 Posted June 22, 2008 This photo tells a story and that's what good images do. This one I like a lot. I see a man who, although busy making his way in the world -- likely on his way to work in the morning -- still takes time to stay informed. Whether the information is about politics, the arts, or some other interest, he values learning and knowledge. This is conveyed, in part by the expression on his face. His mouth gives the impression that he is, literally, "digesting" what he is reading. His slightly askew glasses add to the impression that he is immersed in whatever he is reading. I have the feeling that this is a man I would enjoy knowing; a man who is thoughtful, involved, and probably a bit difficult in some ways. Technically I can't offer much in the way of critique. It's crisp, the composition is good, and black and white was the perfect choice. Another fine Samel image. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted June 22, 2008 Thank you R you are very observant. He also is not too careful about lining up the ends of his tie. I would never do such a thing. I am very sick today so your message means even more to me :-) Link to comment
