pepmir 0 Posted May 15, 2008 Es como un fantasma y sin embargo se adivina el movimiento del baile. Me gusta mucho. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 15, 2008 There is a strong feeling of potential and unfolding in this picture and a great deal of dynamic tension. Very nice, Pnina Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted May 16, 2008 This is both enigmatic and intriguing. It is vague enough that it lends itself to many interpretations. From afar I thought of Anubis, the Egyptian god with the head of a jackal. It also seems like there is someone pounding on top of another person. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted May 16, 2008 Nice shadows scene, Pnina. I like the forms, tones and contrast. Excellent capture. Regards! Link to comment
glaucodattini 0 Posted May 16, 2008 Very good realization, nice creative work. Warm regards. Glauco. (7/7 anon.) Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted May 16, 2008 Oooh, now you make me thinking... there is loads of room for interpretation, Pnina. However, I see three - which would change your composition into 'tertiality'. And considering also Adan's comment, I am of the opinion you need a protective 'tertiality', because duality in face-to-face encounter would create violence... ;) Excellent composition by the way... Regards, El Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 16, 2008 Doug, nice that you will find your own interpretation....;-)) Pep, you write in Spanish, I can not understand, Please write in English . Jack, always well interpreted ! I like to read. Adan, good imagination and interpretation, as always Jana, thanks for stopping by and writing Marc, thanks you too for writing. David,as usual supportive. Brad, Yes, it has some mystery... Glauco, nice evaluation! El port bonheur, duality comes from the word dual/double....thanks for your suggestion and nice interpretation.;-)) Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted May 17, 2008 I saw this as as cinematic expressionism. Ala Nosferatu. A dark creature that lurks outside, or perhaps within? Eros and Thanatos embodied. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 17, 2008 Wonderful image. Do I have to know why I like it so much? I don't seem to know. The one thing that comes to mind is that each time I stare at it, I see something different. It really does pique one's imagination. But, almost every image it conjures is foreboding and anxious. Very good work (as always). Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted May 17, 2008 Pnina, these two shadow images have a creepy and mysterious atmosphere. I prefer this one because it is simpler, and for me that gives it more impact. One of the things I find particularly powerful here is the recurring shadow ripples on both sides of the main shadow. Very good creative work! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 17, 2008 To all of you, it is very interesting to read your impression of this one. As I wrote Jeff in the previous photo I try in my dance photography to transcend from the realm of dance only ,to human life, with its mystery questions and quandaries. Donna, wrote in the begining that it reminds her of the Dybuk... Dybuk is a ghost or a bad spirit that entered a human body, and is a very well known play in our national theatre.... Amal, Nice association of the "ectoplasm" give it a wider context of fiction and the ghost realm.... Jeff, Eros and Thanatos,( also Ala Nosferatu....;-) ) is what I connect to, the two polarities...change vs inertia.. which is very compatible in dance photographty, because dance is a constant fractions of changes and inertia, and these fractions are the time my camera gets in..... David, I'm glad it makes you wonder, feel, and speculate.....;-)) Roger, creepy and mysterious... yes,and all the previous interpretations.... Thanks a lot for the feedback, each with your point of view and impressions.. Link to comment
graham john miles 0 Posted May 17, 2008 Lovely study, strongly reminiscent of the work of Frantisek Drtikol. Link to comment

joe-tury 0 Posted May 19, 2008 Creepy and beautiful. I see a yuan-ti, half man, half snake. I imagine this creature lurking outside a window, waiting for the moment to enter and take control. Link to comment
