This is one of those rare photographs which crosses the boundary of photography and gets into the domain of paintings...reminds me of 18th century oil colors. Well done my friend...i salute such originality. Regards.

i agree with the previous poster in that it does have an oil painting type feel to it... but its not tremendously original as he may suggest. Rotting or decaying foods frequently have their photo taken :).

 

I do like this a lot. There is a good contrast of colour but there is something lacking compositionally... what? I am not sure. I feel maybe if there had just been one 'ripe' apple it would have had more impact, but i could easily be wrong.

I do agree. I think that middle cas. frt with fungus is little distraction compared to that two other ripe fruits.. I will try next time if I get a chance to go to Goa. Thanks .
