The Gem

Transmutation of subject was the intent here. I had shot some stones

for use as a texture or background and was playing with some of the

possibilities. Both the `gem' and the background are from the same

source. The background is from a negative version of the same image as

the 'gem'.

The display elements are just my presentation choice. Please critique
