Goldfinch Magnolia 2

This was a fun evening in my back yard. I'm hoping I managed to get a

Is this a composite image. It's quite striking, but the bird seems out of scale a bit and depth of field vs size is playing some tricks on my eyes. Something is making my eyes/brain try to figure things out rather than just seeing.

Nope, nothing out of place here. This was not altered. The Finch does look rather small in comparrison to the flowers but that's what's so great about magnolias. Thanks for stopping to look.

Its always a pleasure to visit your site. As always your folio is so diverified and colorful! You have to have a lot of patience to shoot birds and flowers and your patience paid off big time on this shot. Beautiful pastel colors and the goldfinch cooperated big time. A 6/6 easy!.
