Sunset Saguaro Silhouette

The last shot on my first evening in Arizona. It had been a gorgeous sunset with a few clouds here and there to add interest. I love seeing the flowers on the ends of the saguaro's arms. Makes for a nice silhouette. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Great shot! Really like it. Comment: Is it possible to lighten the shot just a bit to make the top of the saguaro "pop" ou from the dark sky?

Nice silhouette. The pink and orange in the sky is typical of the west. Make for beautiful photos. Well done.

You gotta get the 4x6 ND grads, holder, and adapter out of the box for this shot, Lou Ann. It doesn't do you any good in the box... Get that reverse grad too; and lay it down on the horizon and just marvel at the dynamic range you can capture with your camera. LOL! Sunset in the desert; now you know why I'll probably never leave the southwest. Just magic! Ciao! Chris

Love this silhouetted saguaro! Dramatic and frame-worthy. Nicely done! I can't envision what Chris means with the filters.....he's been trying to encourage me to get some too. All in due time! :)

A nice silhouette image at the end of the day is always worth staying awake for. The sky at the top in too dark for my liking, but otherwise I think it is a very nice photo.

Great color and composition.

The subtle shifts in color in the sky are beautiful, and I like the cactus in silhouette.
