Shawn, you guessed right, no hiding secret messages though, but the caption "conquerer" is implying to another conquerer who failed unlike his invention - the Beetle who conquered the world in the second half of the twentieth century!

Stefano, there are no strawberries on the picture, it's been all made of tomatoes and peppers, ha! I had to cover the traces of the peppers filling the squares with plain red or green color. There are still traces of tomatoes left and they reminded you of strawberries I suppose.

I like the abtraction of this. In the composition I like the contrast of the square shapes and irregular volumens with the sphere. The colours and the position of the shapes add the movement . Very interesting work.

I am always impressed by your creativity, because I have no idea how you make those images. As far as the title - conquerers, they come and they go, abd you showed this nicely! B :)

Baerbel, believe me, for most of my abstract painting and patterns as I call them I wonder myself how I have done them! It is just activity and implementation of all ideas patiently and with love for the work. Good music, coffee, cigarettes, night birds singing and....happiness!

 

I wonder how could you take your camera everywhere you go in any time of the day and take pictures. And it seems you go a lot of places, interesting and picturesque!

Pierre, photographing is addictive. I never leave the house without a camera, a very small one. When I can, I use my Nikon, however. To do what you do is amazing, though. You have brought photography to a new level. You are da man! B :)
