gungajim 75 Posted May 11, 2008 This must have been conceived by a very clever person. The patterns are very engaging. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted May 12, 2008 Baerbel, you should maybe have asked for permission the Dumas the great?! I'm kidding, of course! This is your picture of course and this is a very nice and original one too! PDE Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted May 12, 2008 Jim, thanks for the compliment, but I have to admit, there was no conceiving or cleverness involved. The image is totally unmanipulated. It was taken at the Met in NY. I went there for the current Courbet exhibit and saw this mirror/art-piece in another part of the museum and took two quick pics while walking by. The gal at the lower right is my daughter....Hope that did not deflate your opinion of my creativity too much. B ;) Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted May 12, 2008 Dumas the Great, do not worry, my friend. I have no intentions of taking your crown. Also - read the above - mine was just a quick snap shot, very unlike your elaborate master pieces. So your position and status remain unchallenged. You may rest easy. Take care. jcpopper 0 Posted May 14, 2008 Fine stuff! Reminds me of the famed "distortions" that Weegee did in the 1950s. Warm regards... Link to comment
