kenrick 0 Posted May 11, 2008 These flamingoes have been feeding in this particular spot for the last three weeks. They've never been there before according to the local fishermen. A daunting reminder that we keep interfering with the natural habitat of these birds as we continue to develop chemical industries along the west coast of the island of Trinidad. Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted May 11, 2008 I'm afraid the damage that has been done to earth, climate and us ourselves,is a dead end street, with no turning back.Nice image though.Best regards. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted May 11, 2008 Kenrick, where have you been? Excellent nature shot. I like it very much even if it is partially due to pollution (though I don't understand why that would account for them congregating in this particular spot). I see several great images here, close up and cropped. I'd love to be in this area, you lucky boy. Link to comment
jcvpictures 0 Posted May 11, 2008 Where have you been lately? what a great and lovely image of this beautiful birds that I still don't know personally! I was almost ready to ask you to show some of the fauna of Trinidad and Tobago since I ve been reading that you have some endemic species but you are already doing a great start. Keep on showing the wonders of your beautiful country. jc Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted May 11, 2008 I like this a lot. My mom loves flamingos, and seeing this certainly brings her closer to me on Mother's day. Best Regards, Bob Link to comment
