For such an over-photographed location, you've done a very good job. Very good tonal range and the lighting worked well (maybe taking some patience on your part). Mr. Adams would be proud. I have some shots of other locations with a similar feel and I am drawn to this look. Very beautiful shot with a bit of originality to it, which is tough to do with this old rock.

What'd you do; go to the safe-deposit box for this one? 'Geez, Louise', Amigo; this is simply stunning and absolutely one of your best black and white posts to date. You're killin' me, Dude! Superb composition and exposure; and the post-pro is spot-on; seriously! My treat to you; on our way out of Tuolumne and back to Santa Clarita; is a sunset on our last night (why waste the light?) at either Glacier Point or Washburn Point. It'll mean a late arrival back in Santa Clarita; but I have a sense it'll be worth it. So, make your return trip arrangements accordingly. Cheers, Your Travel Buddy, Chris

Since I can't go on all the trips that my Amigos go on I have to keep going to safe deposit box. Luckily I found a couple that I hadn't possessed yet! Thanks to all of you for your kind words and for taking the time to look.

Up there with ANYTHING Adams did, and I say that not lightly.

I keep coming back to this one.  Its right up there with anything that Ansel shot from this locale.  Hope we get to hit Glacier Road this trip.  This went into my favorite folio!
