very beautiful scene with very dynamic and tricky lighting. If you used the d300 on this I am discovering the "D" light setting which MAY have helped a bit with the bright spot from the sun. All the very best

Beautiful capture of light and atmosphere. Makes me think of the early mornings hiking on the C&O Canal Trail cold and shivering from the night before and eagerly awaiting the sunrise to warm me up and energize me for the days hike.
