rampix 0 Posted May 13, 2008 I enjoy the way your deer blends with the grass and background, very soothing on the eye Link to comment
raybrizzi 0 Posted May 13, 2008 Whitetail? It looks like a bluetail to me. along with blue legs and sides. Nice capture of the deer and his alertness, but color balance is too cold. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 2, 2008 One of the better ones. Subject fills the frame. Lighting is bad so try to darken the the background in Photoshop. Dup layer- select the deer, make a layer mask and darken the whole rest of the picture. Maybe even a gradient only slightly darker up to the deer`s belly, then darker from there up. This will be tedious, but the picture will improve considerably. Link to comment
marypar4 0 Posted June 5, 2008 I think this is a wonderful capture..folks maybe don't realize how hard it is o get a shot like this...that being said..I would lke to see more blur in the background in order to highlight the deer..rather then having him blend in to the background. I just did a quick blur to show you the effect I am talking about..take a look Link to comment
raybrizzi 0 Posted June 6, 2008 everybody wants to get into the act! It was a bit too blue, and there's lots of browns and greens. I thought that just a little adjustment with LAB color was all it needed, so I tried it. It looks good to me... but then I'm supposed to be red/green color blind although I don't understand that.
