Well, yes...

We've got trees in a nearby park that are selectively illuminated by floodlights, after dark.

This unknown species displays autumn hues, which fits right in with our current season down here.

This one would be my favorite among the 3 posted so far in this folder. Just because colors and shapes are more appealing for me. Sorry for such a silly comment, but I take it as an almost-abstract photo with a minimalistic and symetrical composition, and therefore, I don't see what else to say. :-)

I like this one very much, myself. I see it as an explosion of life. the buds here, which look like fall foliage, start as little red dots all over the ends of the branches, then unfold into tiny red clumps of baby leaves, then turn brown, then yellow, then green as they grow and unfurl. In the day time it's not so easy to see them, or to see their color, but at night, with this light, they seem to blow up.

These are all good, Doug. This one looks like a burst of fireworks. I don't know how many times I have thought about going out and getting some shots of trees illuminated at night--but have yet to do so.

I love this kind of thing. I think that maybe a little more space at the top might have been nice, but I still like it.

Hiya, Lannie. It's good to see you. A little more room would be good. Framing in the camera was one the most difficult parts of this project because I couldn't see through the darkness. I like the fireworks aspect of this, too. I have a print of this on my wall at a level such that when I'm lying in bed, I just have to open my eyes and it's right there. It is so cool!
