bosshogg 4 Posted May 10, 2008 Well, tomorrow is Mother's Day and I felt the need to celebrate with apost. Yeah, I know she doesn't exactly look like the mother most of ushave, but it's all I could come up with. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted May 10, 2008 Hey, I'm cingle too! But she appears to be more than I could handle. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted May 11, 2008 Awww, come on, Shawn, give it a try. I bet she won't say 'no'! :) Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 11, 2008 You've caught my mood exactly, David; you know I'm kind of a devil-may-care guy. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted May 11, 2008 She's beautiful, but she is hard. And she is tough too. I prefer the usual not so nice in the outside but a lovelly soul in the inside. But back to the photo you capture the movement and the expression with a great timing. A completely decisive moment. I think the old Cartier Bresson would not do better here. Regards. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 11, 2008 If he does give it a try, I want to be there to record the whole sordid event. Oh my, I'm getting some pretty horrifying images running through that mucky field also known as my brain. I think I need a drink! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 11, 2008 Thank you for recognizing the degree of difficulty in capturing such a fast moving scene. I think it took something like one ten thousandth of a second shutter speed to stop the action. lol Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 11, 2008 She IS singular as I'm sure she is the only casted woman in the neighborhood...;-)) as usual you find the unbelievable juxtaposition, the door, all the credite card... Just go in and buy yourself a woman....;-)) The problem is, as we say of Hanukka lights( a Jewish holiday lighting 8 candles eacy day a candle) " Don't touch ,just look at them"....LOL Well composed , and funny appropriate title. Your usual enjoyable good eye, David. Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted May 11, 2008 I think it'd be more appropriate to place her outside a chiropractor's office. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 11, 2008 Good point. But I'd be needing one if I tried moving this hunk of iron. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 11, 2008 I don't know if you have ever been to Santa Barbara or not, but it is the height of trendiness. Lots of shops and boutiques. The wife was doing the boutique thing, and I was watching the people and looking for an image. Didn't come away with much except a better knowledge of how the rich and famous live their lives. pnital 36 Posted May 12, 2008 I was never in Santa Barbara.... do you think I have lost something?....LOL, Take care , my friend, ( I like your way of thinking as I have said before). Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 12, 2008 No, you haven't missed much. When you come visit, we will go to the mountains, the sea, and then to the down and out places I care more about. Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted May 13, 2008 The good puns (and the truly bad ones) are all taken, so I'll just say, nice work, amigo. Warm regards... Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted May 14, 2008 Sometime your wisdom seem timeless. What a blessing to have you around. Take care. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 14, 2008 A perfect Californian woman. A timeless beauty, perfectly posed, intentionally spontaneous, and finely crafted. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted May 14, 2008 I was getting excited when I saw the thumbnail and now I can see it's a statue. After this letdown I need an extra-deep gulp of V8. Looks like she's got too much tan. The curves are alright, though. How about a really close shot with your ultra-wide angle lens from her right ankle up, following her leg? Could be interesting. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
