Very nice capture...the lighting is beautiful on this egret. I really like the rim effect created by the rear-left sun angle. The way it separates the bird's head and neck from the shadow side of its wing is excellent. Nicely done.

Stunning Shot! So graceful.

Great image given the angle of the sun (off the front, right quadrant based on the shadow of the head on the neck). But as the sun is on the other side of the head, there can be no catchlight in the eye. Also creates a tough white highlight issue on the forward back of the bird. Focus is right on, maybe a bit more lightening on the head of the bird to bring out the details. Great photo. 6/6 anon
