aarkp 2 Posted September 2, 2009 Rudyard, Edgar Allan and Benoni have been reversed to what purpose? I detest seeing books being treated so casually... so in between office/home/tennis/golf/scuba diving you find time to read... next time you're on a court or on the course why not carry your camera with you... can't suggest the same for underwater... mauroni 0 Posted September 2, 2009 This is a picture of a reality not manipulated by me. The bookshelf is in a room in the house where we spent our free time (http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7748355). An old house with old books and the person who read the last time those books put them upside down for don't know what reason. On the other hand there is at least one Kipling's book that is in the right position. Bringing the camera on the tennis court is very difficult even if I'm lefthanded. For the golf course is the same. As far as scuba diving is concerned, indeed, I took several underwater pictures in the past. Some can be seen at http://gallery.me.com/mauro.moroni#100138&bgcolor=black&view=mosaic&sel=0 but bringing the camera during scuba dives is really boring and drop at least by 50% off the pleasure of diving. So during the last ten years I didn't take underwater pictures but this summer. Unfortunately I've not yet dealt them with. It looks like if you have a negative judgement about the way I use my free time... Mauro Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted September 3, 2009 Not at all, Mauro! I only wish you'd give a little more of your free time to photography... a talent going to 'waste' [only for want of another illustrative word, don't infer anything else from it please]... i am certainly not suggesting that you wield a racket/club with one hand and a camera with the other... there are moments when one is not playing and both ones hands are free to grapple with the camera... finding time for photo-editing is something only you can do...
