This illustration of what I view as a prototypical 'wide stance' of both this

man AND the bench on which he is sitting, offers maximum stability in

a sometimes topsy-turvy world. Perhaps it also can illustrate what

Representative/Congressman Larry Craig, Republican, Idaho meant

when he said he adopted a 'wide stance' in that airport restroom?

Maybe he was just sitting there like this man here and really was

innocent despite his guilty plea. Your ratings and critiques are invited

and most welcome If you rate harshly or very critically, please submit a

helpful and constructive comment; please share your superior

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! John

I am not sure why they 'punch you in the eyes' or what that means at all.

In truth, this is a very droll photograph, with the man's stance, mirroring the stance of the bench -- wide stance of bench/wide stance of man. The trash cannister throws the center of balance of mass to the left, despite centering of the man.

So, 'sorry' does not 'click' with me.

'Sorry' back to you.

This tickles my sophisticated funny bone (or am I just seeing things)?

I agree with you; it's actually a drollery of mine that few seem to have understood; perhaps they took offense at my reference to Congressman Larry Craig who got arrested because of his 'wide stance' which I can't help but think he might have used this photo in his defense IF he had not plead guilty to the offense of homosexual solicitation in a men's room. It's sad really, because he probably was innocent -- entrapped at least, whether or not he was gay.

I think however this photo stands on its own and low ratings or not, I won't withdraw it. It'll stay posted; it's very droll -- perhaps too droll for most.

Thanks for commenting.
