Floating colors

I submitted this image yesterday, and based on comments have removed the sky. I'm

curious to know what the general response would be with this version 2. Thanks for

your opinions and comments.

I just saw this today and went back and looked at the one submitted yesterday. This one is much better. The colors and saturations blend very well and background adds to the foreground not take away from it. The one with the sky in it was so blown out that it seemed to blow out the foreground as well and made the entire image over exposed. The boats where lost in the sky if that makes sense.

 

This one the boats stand out and makes that photo very well composed.

 

I think it is great that you received critiques that helped you make the photo better.

Hi,I saw your old version with sky yesterday.Now i see your new one without sky.I feel this one better than the old one.Normally, people like to take landscape pictures with sky,but I think the sky doesn't matter the success or fail of the picture.If you take the right composition,anything could turn out to be a good picture!^^ That's what I thought,cheers!!
