I thought I'd repost this image (larger) because some commented that

the image was blurry. In fact it is not blurry and quite sharp. The

clouds themselves are soft and swirling in some area - and not hard

edged - but thats the way clouds are.

I missed your first posting of this. I think you caught this wicked looking storm very well. I like the blue sky to the right to help show the magnitude of this giant. If it were me....I'd be high tailing it back the opposite way!

Actually, this is a portrait of a storm in its death throes. Although it was quite severe early, at this point it was just turning into a mass of heavy rain. It wasn't moving very fast either so I had plenty of time to shoot.

Nicely done!! I like how you utilized the upper third of the photo for the sky. Gives an impending doom feeling.

What can I say! A perfect example of "being at the right place at the right time".
