LenMarriott 9 Posted July 6, 2008 Richard, This one, though nicely exposed, doesn't do it for me. The foreground branch, a major element, is covering another major element, the mist shrouded trees in the background. I think placing the branch higher in the frame would have been more appropriate, breaking up the rather boring expanse of sky while still providing a good frame for the background trees. Your other offering (I believe it features this same branch) "On opposing Shores" does a better job of telling the story of this location at this particular time of day. Only one opinion but it & $2.00 should get you a coffee at any Starbucks. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment
