I get this terrible news, first hand from Igor, at 5:20 PM to day, and I known Yury personally. He was a greet guy, a very friendly big fellow. I'm devastated of the lose, a great person, in his prime. All my condolences to his family, and friends.

This is a shocking news, Igor..... Can't believe it!

Yuri was the PNer who inspired me with his artistic photo works six years ago, influencing me to become a photo.net member. He was kind enough to visit many of my photos and comment/rate them generously....

We've lost a great member and friend.... It is a big loss to PN community!

I was so sad for this terrible news. "Yura" has been really a great and talented photographer.

I knows that you were good friends... (I still remember your fantastic shots of the "squirrel photographer"...)

Like so many others I never knew Yuri, Igor, except as a wonderful exponent of the photographic art. Thank you for drawing the photo.net community's attention to this sad loss. Your photo is a fitting tribute for one who was taken so early in life. Kind regards, Chris
