Matt Laur 2,201 Posted April 28, 2008 No, he's not working on the Road to Hell. But this one-man CSX rail maintenance operation is pulling just-before-sunset Sunday evening duty... and it will be a Hellish Commute come Monday morning if he doesn't get his repair done. Those are kerosene-soaked charcoal firebeds along the steel rail sections, softening them up enough to allow him to repair a buckled area. Thanks for visiting. Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted April 28, 2008 Nicely composed on a gentle diagonal, the truck facing out of one corner, the man into the frame from the opposite corner. Nice work with the available light, dark in the woods by light on your subjects. I can't help but wonder how strong this guy has to be. I've been around RR workers but have never heard of this. Great find. Link to comment
