Landrum Kelly 64 Posted April 28, 2008 Liz, this is not quite fair. I mean, what if we say what we really think, and then they turn out to be your daughters? Nice shot, though. --Lannie Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted April 28, 2008 Haha, Lannie. Actually the one on the left is my daughter. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted April 28, 2008 Well, there you are. . . . Is that some kind of tent entrance that they are standing under? --Lannie Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted May 2, 2008 I would have added a black stroke and framed it with white frames! PDE Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Many thanks for stopping by. We took these two on a trip to Punta Cana, my daughter and her friend. Both very nice girls, just trying not to get burned, pouring out sunscreen. Pierre, I tried your idea, but couldn't get it to work for me. I'd love to see what you can do. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 3, 2008 A fun shot Liz, has a sense of humour, as a way to be carful. You very well composed that situation. Link to comment
robertinio 0 Posted May 3, 2008 What I notice is the very well control over the light. Not always easy at a snap. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 22, 2008 With this as a beginning, I could see you doing very interesting things with street shooting. A lot of elements came together here for you, wit, charm, black and white, great compositional arrangement, and the right timing. Brings a smile. Interestingly, you don't have that many people shots, compared to your more colorful and lively, more geometric images, so it stands out in your portfolio as very real and spontaneous, yet it seems to fit right in as well, probably because of the way you handled it and the clear black and white contrast. You could probably put together a folder centered around this one and the piano keys and explore some interesting visual thematics. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted May 23, 2008 That comment is a tremendous commentary for me. I would like to do more with this genre, but it is tough to learn. I need to study "the greats" more before I can figure it out. Link to comment
