davidmccracken 2 Posted April 27, 2008 I think my model liked the title more than the image. This image was not taken without inspiration. Do check out Owen O'Meara's work on photopoints. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
JamesMarkus 0 Posted April 27, 2008 This is better than "biological clock". Very funny + is very good composition. Like the negative space on the right too. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted April 27, 2008 I see the David of old beginning to surface again. PS. Thanks for the plug. -Cheers Link to comment
jerrymat 3 Posted April 27, 2008 At first glance I thought this was a pear-loined image! Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted April 27, 2008 An unspearing image. A mound of pears to confound the goddess of love. Looking at her eases my despear. McCracken - you made my dear. Up till now, it was unpearable; now it's incompearbale. Link to comment
steve ward 0 Posted April 27, 2008 Un-pearable. Congrat to you and the lovely model, perhaps you could show her face as well. Link to comment
george_watters 0 Posted April 28, 2008 Pyramid pears ... most women have a pear, not 8 pair. Great image Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 29, 2008 James, It appears you like this for the same reasons I do. I am glad that you saw 'Biological Clock' too. Owen, I don't think the 'old David' has ever been away. It's just that some of my images would be deemed inappropriate for this site. As for the plug... don't thank me. You keep inspearing me and I will keep plugging you. Jerry, I have to be honest and say I don't fully understand your comment but I do thank you for making one. Jim, Perhaps not so clever. This is one of these images that just happened. Thanks! Mark, Oh pear. I guess I dearserved that. Steve, Thanks for the comment. The choice was to post this without the face or not post it at all. I hope I made the right decision. George, I think your arithmetic is a little out. There are only 3 1/2 pairs in this image. Thanks everyone. It is appreciated. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2008 Perhaps this is what people mean when they talk about forbidden fruit? This is a tried and true concept, of course, but unlike others (candy, billiard balls, marbles, etc., etc.) you've done it in a way that inspires visual and verbal puns.A fun image, and a good one at that. I like it. Link to comment
ifotoman 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Great concept David! However, I think a shot with just 1 strategically placed pear would also be interesting????... Thanks for visiting and your comments noted! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 4, 2008 Jim, Interesting comment about this having been done before. When I mentioned this idea to the model she wanted to check to see if it had been done. Being honest when we Googled 'Pubic Pears' we were both expecting to see an array of images. We did not see any. If you now Google 'Pubic Pears' you should find this image. Satheesh, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Personally I don't think one pear would have worked so well but that is only my opinion. Thank you both! Link to comment
