early spring, northern forest...comments appreciated, thank you!

this is one of those photo's that is overlooked by most let alone be appreciated. But if you print this one I'll bet it will look just fantastic.

Greetings! I was hoping you would see this. The other day I was looking through a collection of Ansel Adams black and white prints and there were several simple images of ferns and trees from above. When I saw this from the walkway to the falls, I thought of his work and decided to give it a try. I am looking forward to printing this. Thanks for the comment!

studying the classics are you? Always a good idea. While you're at it have a look at the work of Edouard Boubat as well. I was lucky enough to see some of his vintage prints and they were really awesome. Although he has become famous enough I think his work is way better than that of some of his even more renowned collegues.

Am I detecting some Boubat behind Ton Mestrom's viewfinder? He has done some very impressive work. I could sit in the library for hours pouring over these images. Unfortunately, I have yard work to do...and then there is that small matter of my job:-)!
