celasun 0 Posted April 26, 2008 Composition, colors, framing; all in agreement. What more could one ask for? ( Actually, the answer is: A larger version :) ) Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 26, 2008 Thanks for the comment and rating. I took a few shots of this scene and then the birds flew into the photo. I like the fact that sails of the boat are almost the same color of the rainbow. Best regards, Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 27, 2008 I was looking around for Nikon D300 price on the internet: I came across http://www.bestpricecameras.com that was advertising it at $939 - I said to myself - this is too good to be true and based on the following site http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Best_Price_Cameras_6 with 443 comments which all of them say that you should stay away from this company. Buyer Beware. Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted April 27, 2008 Very pleasant composition, nice elaborated, Tony. Interesting choice of nuances right vs. left of rainbow. Warm regards, El. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted April 27, 2008 Good morning! This is a beautiful image that certainly captures the essence of the beach and the feel of the sea. Very nice! Dick Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 27, 2008 For me the rainbow was the center of attraction and that is why I made this image in portrait mode. This change makes the boat and the beach more the center of attraction. Was wondering about a 2nd image and whether it would be more aesthetically pleasing - would appreciate your comments. rarmstrong 0 Posted April 27, 2008 They are both worth keeping...different perspectives, both excellent! Dick Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted April 29, 2008 Excellent! As to the alternate versions, I agree with Richard. They're both good, and the altered perspective makes them quite different images. So keep them both. Warm regards... Link to comment

adan1 0 Posted May 1, 2008 More than a fabulous picture you captured a sense of paradise here. The two birds flying side by side is a great touch. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 1, 2008 Many thanks for your constructive input. A friend sent me an e-mail indicating that the people and birds were a minor distraction and it would be better without them. I disagreed. No one has mentioned that here so i am just throwing this out for comment. Perhaps it will make a third image out of a single image. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 1, 2008 Thank you for your generous rating and kind words. Have a great day and happy image making. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted May 1, 2008 I think the people and birds add to the image. If you took them out, you will still have a beautiful image, but in my opinion, less interesting. Regards, Dick Link to comment
adelah 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Ah, this remember me the summer... i love this vertical version, because of the rainbow! Link to comment
