Thank you for your comment. I acknowledge your point of view. In fact, the 'rope' is a separation in a blue painted concrete wall ( you could also call that "cache-misere"). The flower should function as attraction point to improve the overall view and 'brake the monotony' of concrete. Sounds plausible? Regards, El.

if this picture are just the strong colors of red rose and simple blue background i would think this picture pretty dull and chintzy. but the oblique black belt make the colors and composition of this picture more balance, and turn it into an interesting one as the title implied. i think this picture is rather original in compositon and the use of strong colors. regards.

Me gusta la composicion; me parece atractiva y original e incluso chocante; quiero decir, que desafia. El choque de colores es una llamada de atencion. Felicidades. Tienes una gran creatividad. Saludos de Eugenio.

And thank you for giving me your opinion which I read with much attention. I just want to let you know that I understand very well what your motives are and what you want to tell me. However, as a matter of fact it's all a question of personal taste and personal receptiveness. And obviously here we have the controversy... Mumtaz, there are bigger problems in life than a red tulip against a blue wall separated by a dark 'rope'. Anyway, thanks again for your input. Hope to see you visit again, best regards, El.

Interesante toma.Aunque la linea negra pueda parecer, objeto de distraccion,le da un toque diferencial y de originalidad, que refuerza positivamente la composicion.Me gusta.

Muy original, sobretodo por lo de la raya negra, que le da el toque de originalidad.
