Red. White. Blue

This was shot using a compact camera, near sunset. I'll be returning with a DSLR soon, and

the ambition to get better shots of this spectacular coast. Any suggestions on how to

improve this sort of thing would be gratefully received.

Never underestimate the power of point and shoots, it's the operator of the machinery that is the true inspiration. I look forward to seeing your DSLR shot. Think wide angle. Getting all of the flowers in the foreground in the image would really anchor the image and the wave draws the eye into the scene. I can feel the sunshine and smell the salt air now!
