le-plume 0 Posted April 22, 2008 One more pic to add to my Scandinavian folder, for now at least. The province of Scania calls itself (with some hyperbole) theSwedish Riviera. I don't like the Riviera very much anyway, so Iwouldn't make much of that. One thing that it is: the major wheatsupplier of Scandinavia. I like the sight of ripe wheat fields.Somehow, it is a reminder than plentiful food is not to be granted:our bread has to be reaped there before it ends up on our tables. From that angle, the small Island of Ven looks pretty large (eventhough you can see the waters of the Sund behind the tree line) - andthe man in front of the harvester looks pretty small. Size isrelative, etc. Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted April 22, 2008 Mostly a wonderful photo and a great narrative to accompany it. I love all the wheat in the expansive foreground. It defines this photo. The entire composition is great. The scenery in the far distance seems to be of another color palate. It's probably just the way your camera saw it. But if this were my photo, I would adjust the saturation, colors and/or contrast to pull it in line with the information in the foreground and create more definition between it and the color of the sky. I believe it would enhance the drama, the story line. Well done. Well told. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
