pnital 36 Posted April 21, 2008 It looks like a spooky movie Joe or a movie ad! The hand is really a good addition to make it dramatic and create tension. well done! Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Blues brothers... This is processed with a great taste. Link to comment
nachosaezdeugarte 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Fantastic work Joseph....Some kind of magic too. Regards. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Fascinating image and processing, Joseph. Both amusing and sinister at the same time. Including the car door handle is one of those touches which is inexplicably effective. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Wes thought he had heard a noise and wanted to investigate, but he decided to turn the radio up instead. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted April 21, 2008 It just gets better and better. Somehow I am reminded of the Blues Brothers. Definitely Beluchi-esque. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted April 22, 2008 I see the Blues Brothers. Nice work and the hand looks pretty cool, although I don't know if turning up the radio could drown that out... By the way thaks for the comment on my recent shot. I'm trying to get back to this fun... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 22, 2008 This is great. Funny, I have a shoot coming up on Wednesday, and I was thinking just along these lines. Man in car. Of course, I doubt I would have thought of the hand back there (a distinct Tury touch . . . you do have the eerie side, don't you). I was thinking more along the lines of nude man in car but to each his own! I like the playful style you touched this up with and it's got a very known and iconic feel about it to. Familiar yet, in your hands, creatively done. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted April 22, 2008 Superb idea with excellent result, Joseph. Really funny scene with very good treatment. High quality work! Regards! Link to comment

joe-tury 0 Posted April 26, 2008 Jeff: Oh, so you've heard of this one? Did you hear about the campers and the escaped convict? Thanks!Danielle: Appreciate it. Maybe that's Darren's hand?Kelvin: I had a similar thought. Could go either way. Thanks!Cherlyn: The "hdr" is actually the result of super hyper realistic sharpening in PS. Try unsharp mask @ 400-500,65,1 for some weird fun.Pnina: Yes, I've borrowed this from many a cheap horror movie from the 80s. Thanks!Tero and Bob : I didn't think about the blues brothers when I made this, but I sure see it too. Thank you both!Mehmet: Pop Art..I'll buy that. Thank you my friend!Jose: Thanks you for stopping by.Roger: Started out as sinister, but the humor is obvious:) The door handle was a subconscious addition which was surprisingly effective. Thanks for noticing!Chris: Again, you are too kind .I really appreciate it amigo!Tony: Thanks man!Fred: Funny stuff. The eerie side comes from my fascination with ghouls and ghosts, fantasy and sci-fi. Not so much the macabre, but more of the unknown, like Bigfoot and Nessy. Ha! Thanks for your thoughts!David: Thanks a lot! It was an idea that morphed as I worked on it.Charalampos: Thank you .That means a lot coming from the digital master.PDE: Thank you my friend!Emmanuel: Thanks for the encouraging words my friend!Tony: Anytime.Joseph: Thank you!Alina: He hasn't seen the hand yet, or perhaps he doesn't want to look :o) Thanks for the ideas!Sheryl: Thanks. The smoke trail is a new technique that I'm working on.Richard: Thank you!Deb: Me too, and I'm glad that you get a kick out of it. Thanks! Link to comment
