apergament 0 Posted April 18, 2008 I like this . . . is it vaseline on a filter? Either way, the effect is dynamic. The line just underneath the flower that goes towards the top right is a bit distracting; it seems to cut across the other lines which tend to go towards the bottom right. Also, Maybe its the effect of oversharpening the flower, or maybe just the lighting, but the white specks in the flower, though they add a nice texture, seem inconsistent with the easy flowing movement of the rest of the photo. This is especially so of the white highlights just around the bud. The outside of the flower though, that's attached to the stem is perfect. I would also consider desaturating the turqoise in the middle left a bit, or dodging it. Overall, a nice photo... I think it would look really nice in a glossy print. Link to comment
