Funny shot. I see you used a shallow depth of field. It's kind of one of those things if you decide to use, the commit and go all the way. Because the eyes are just barely out of focus, it looks like it wasn't done on purpose. I would either make them all the way in focus, or way far out of focus, with the mouth in focus. Great shot regardless, and Im sure it will be one that you treasure.

Adorable picture....great expression. The only thing that bothers me about it is the eyes being out of focus. Still adorable though.
