Omikuji are random fortunes written on strips of paper at Shinto

shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan.

very interesting idea and composition, I love the simplicity in colors and the kinda diagonal in this picture with the pretty narrow DOF. the frame is also very nice, have you made it by hand? did you scan in something for brushes or is there a plugin that achieves this effect?best regards,

Thanks for your kind comments. The frame I used is one of the standard ones that comes with Photoshop Elements 5; either Photo Border 1 or Photo Border 2 in the Professional folder under Frames under Artwork.
